La organización de los archivos municipales se hará a través de un convenio de colaboración con el Gobierno de Extremadura y permitirá el mantenimiento de cinco puestos de trabajo durante cuatro años
El Pleno de la Corporación Provincial ha dado el visto bueno al Convenio de Cooperación entre la Diputación de Cáceres y la Consejería de Educación y Cultura para la continuación del Programa de Organización de Fondos de Archivos Municipales. Este acuerdo responde a lo dispuesto en la Ley de Archivos y Patrimonio Documental de Extremadura.
